Background:
The Crown Hill Project is a community-wide, multi-year effort to purchase
our property (a surplus school) from the Seattle School District.
A wide range of organizations and groups live in and use the Crown
Hill site, including Small Faces Child Development Center, ARC Ballet,
Taj Yoga, Flamenco Gitana, youth soccer and baseball, and many others.
The project is an opportunity to acquire open space, as well as a
building for arts, education and community space, and to secure the
building for continued community use and benefit.
